Built with every day adventures, urban commutes, and errand running in mind, Muirwoods and Larkspur models are as well at home in the concrete jungle, ready for dicing it up on the bike paths and cutting through parks on the way to the grocery store or class, as they are on long cruises on dirt roads and meandering double track. The durable and smooth riding steel frames are dressed with parts picked specifically for their durability in everyday use, like hydraulic disc brakes, robust drivetrains, tough wheels with multi- surface tires, and the ability to add a variety of commute accessories makes sure you can customize the bike for your daily needs.

STEEL FRAME

The Muirwoods uses a butted Series 1 4130 CrMo frame and fork
with 29” tires, disc brakes, full fender and rack mounts, and two
bottle bosses. The Muirwoods RC uses a double butted Series
2 CrMo rame with sliding dropouts for internally geared hub
compatibility and large volume 650B wheels and tires. Larkspur
models also feature the butted Series 2 frame with a mixte stepthru
design for easy mounting and dismounting, even with baskets
and baby seats.

WIDE-RANGE 1x DRIVETRAINS

Both Larkspur models are built around modern, wide-range drivetrains, 10-speed on the Larkspur 1 and 11-speed on the Larkspur 2. These drivetrains are stout and have all the gearing most anyone could use, without relying on sometimes-fussy front derailleurs. Clutch-type rear derailleurs and narrow-wide front chainrings keep the chain on track, all the time.

conditions with minimal maintenance.
